NEW METEOR STORE OPENS IN CARLOW BRINGING REAL COMPETITION TO THE MOBILE MARKET

Meteor, Ireland's fastest growing network officially opened the doors of the most recent addition to their retail operation, today Saturday the 8th of July in Carlow.

To mark the official opening the public was greeted by carnival characters including silt walkers and balloon sculptors and was encouraged to join in the celebrations at the newest Meteor outlet on 141 Tullow Street in Carlow town.

Following a period of substantial growth with over 60,000 customers joining in the first quarter of this year (Jan - March 06). Meteors market share has steadily risen to 15% with a total of 625,000 customers and growing.
