The Irish version of the Apprentice is set to return to TV3 in the Autumn. The multi-award-winning series, recently scooped a coveted IFTA for Best Entertainment Series and three TV Now Awards, Best Newcomer for Bill Cullen, Best Reality Show and Most Sensational Moment.

Bill Cullen will again take the lead in the boardroom, with Jackie Lavin and Brian Purcell returning as his trusted aides. The 14 candidates will battle it out in a series of weekly tasks set by Ireland's top brands in what is now one of the toughest economic environments seen in Ireland in recent years.

With his trademark no nonsense style, expect grueling boardrooms and even harder challenges when the series returns this Autumn. 'The second series of The Apprentice takes place in a different world, says Bill Cullen. An Ireland where the Celtic Tiger has gone and left us with an economy in serious difficulties. The new candidates will need to show exceptional abilities. Particularly a strong positive attitude with the persistence to get winning results. 14 candidates hungry for success will be shortlisted from applicants all over the country for this unique business opportunity. They will leave successful careers behind in the hope that they will be the one chosen to be mentored by Bill Cullen. The last one standing will win a 12 month contract working alongside Bill with a package worth €100,000.
