Meteor Launch new Mobile Broadband price plans offering the best value on the market

Broadband to go allowance increased to 15GB

Today, (Friday 23rd October), Meteor announced the launch of its new mobile broadband price plans for Billpay along with increased GB allowances on both mobile broadband price plans: Pay As You Go and Billpay, offering customers even more for better value.

In Billpay Broadband to Go plans, Meteor has increased the GB allowance to 15 GB ; the ideal option for customers who are heavy users and online every day, downloading music and videos and gaming online. In Prepay, Meteor is offering the best value in the market with a 30 day Pay As You Go pass priced at only €19.99 compared to €25 with 3 and four new price plans for Billpay customers.

Commenting on the launch today Meteor's Head of Advanced Product Development ,Elaine Robinson, said:"Customers told us what they wanted with mobile broadband and we have deliverd in both GB allowance and cost, representing the best value in the market. Meteor customers now have many options to choose from, whether you are a Pay As you Go or a Billpay customer and whatever your usage, there is a plan to suit your requirements."

She added: " Since our launch in Dublin and Cork in March of this year, Meteor's high speed network has been rolled out in Galway City, Drogheda, Dundalk, Naas, Newbridge, Bray, Arklow, Cahir, Gorey, Letterkenny, Portlaoise, Enniscorthy, Kilkenny town, Mullingar and Wexford town, reaching the remaining cities and major towns by the end of this year followed by nationwide coverage. "

From today, instead of just one single price plan, the operator has made the move to four plans within Billpay, all with different monthly charges and GB allowances. A monthly charge of €16.99 comes with a 5 GB allowance, €19.99 monthly will get you 10 GB and €24.99 will bring you up to a 15 GB allowance, all on a twelve month contract. For customers who opt for an 18 month contract, customers will receive 15 GB for just €19.99.

The Prepay pricing plans have also been revamped. The GB allowance in the 30 day pass has been increased from 5 GB to 7.5 GB. Prepay prices ranges from €2.99 a day with a 500 MB allowance, or €19.99 for a 30 day pass with a 7.5 GB allowance.
