With four well received and critically acclaimed albums and an ever-growing fan base, Bell X1 have established themselves as one of Ireland's biggest selling recording acts. The release of their fourth studio album “Blue Lights on the Runway” saw the group achieve Number 1 here in Ireland with Platinum sales of the first single "The Great Defector".

2009 was a phenomenally successful year for the band including live shows at Benicassim, supporting U2 at Croke Park, sell out Live at the Marquee-Cork, and their fantastic Electric Picnic performance.
