Meteor Kilmacud Crokes 2010 All Ireland Hurling Sevens to Feature the Best in the Game
Defending Meteor Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Sevens champions Moycarkey Borris will lead a star studded field in this the 38th annual running of the event taking place on September 4th. The Stillorgan based club announced full details of the draw yesterday (Tuesday) for what will kick off the most anticipated weekend of hurling in the GAA calendar.
All-Ireland Club Champions from '06, '08 and '09 and All Ireland Sevens winners in â??04 and â??08 Portumna, led by Joe and Ollie Canning, are joined in Group 4 by Croom of Limerick, Eire Og Annacarty / Donohill of Tipperary and Rapparees-Starlights of Wexford.
Killeagh of Cork have a proud history of producing some of the finest hurlers in the game and will feature in group 2 which includes former winners Roscrea.
In Group 5 Moycarkey Borris are paired with Murroe Boher of Limerick, Carrigtwohill of Cork (featuring Niall McCarthy) and Lorrha/Dorrha of Tipperary.
Group 6 includes Cratloe of Clare (winners of the Clare senior hurling championship for the 1st time in their history in 2009), UCC of Cork, Templederry Kenyons & Boherlahan Dualla of Tipperary.

The competition will commence at 10:30am on Saturday with quarter finals to be held in Parc De Burca, Glenalbyn (next to the Stillorgan Shopping Centre) from 14:30 with the semi-finals from 17:00 and final at 18:45.
Supporters on the day will be in with a chance to win two tickets to the much anticipated All Ireland Hurling Final showdown between Kilkenny and Tipperary on Sunday
