No Roaming Charges in Europe

Roaming Charges have been abolished for all countries in Europe Zone 1. For the majority of Bill Pay plans, all you need to do is make sure that you have roaming set up (see below) and then text “EUROPE” to 50104 before you go.

Setting up roaming

Whether you are on business, holidays or enjoying a city break, bill pay customers can enjoy great value roaming rates with Meteor.

From April 26th 2013, new Billpay customers (excluding Mobile Broadband) are set up to roam automatically within 5 days of joining the network. You will receive a text message from Meteor to let you know that this service has been applied to your account.  If you became a Meteor Billpay customer before this date, you will need to call Customer Care before you travel to ensure that you are set up to use your phone when abroad.

All sums due under your contract must be paid by the due date before roaming can be switched on.
