Topping up
Before you go – Top up!
Remember to check your credit balance as you may need to top up to cover the total cost of all
calls/texts made and received while abroad. If you feel you will be using your phone a lot while
away it's useful to buy a top up voucher before you go and bring it with you!
Use TopUpDirect when you’re away
Whether enjoying your holidays or working abroad, make your life easier by registering with
TopUpDirect before you travel.
To get started with TopUpDirect, call Customer Care or visit MyMeteor and register your laser
or credit card.
When you top up once by phone or online, you can then use any of the top up options below:

- and follow the simple steps

Text "TOP UP", followed by the amount of credit you want, a space, then the last 4 digits of your laser / credit card number to 50022
Eg. "TOPUP20 1234"
- Online
- Log on to MyMeteor and click "TopUpDirect".
- Facebook top up
- Don’t forget our Facebook page offers a top up service!
- Scheduled top up
- Call 1740 or select "scheduled top up" at MyMeteor, then set up your monthly top up amount.
You can top up by €10, €20, €30, €40, €50 or €60.
