Meteor Mobile Internet Add-On's - General Terms
The following terms and conditions form part of Meteor's Mobile Internet Add-On bundle service ("mobile internet Add-On Bundle"/ "the Service"). Meteor's general terms and conditions, to which you have also agreed to, and Meteor's Fair Use Policy ("FUP") both of which are available at www.meteor.ie, combined with these terms below constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you/the Customer") for the use of the Service. All capitalised terms herein (unless otherwise defined) shall have whatever meaning is ascribed to them in the general terms and conditions.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles, except for the unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle, are open to all new and existing Bill Pay Customers.
The unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle is only available to the following Tariff Plans:
- Business Edge 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 7500, 10,000;
- Talk 300, 400, 600, 800, 1000; Bill Pay Lite €10 & €30; Bill Pay Connect Plans; Bill Pay Surf and Bill Pay Max
- Eircom Corporate Plan;
- E-mail Data Only Plan; and
- EDGE datacard plan.
A Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle consists of an optional addition to the price of your Bill Pay Tariff Plan of the given amount of data MB's per month.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles are applied to selected individual (subscriber-level) accounts and may not be applied to client-level accounts. Only one subscription per subscriber will be allowed.
Customers availing of a Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle hereby agree, by availing of this Service, that Meteor may contact them, on an ongoing basis, specifically in relation to this Service.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles are restricted to personal use only. Meteor reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this service without notice should Meteor reasonably believe, at its' sole discretion, that the Service is being used for commercial purposes. Meteor shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from the withdrawal, termination, and amendment of Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles or otherwise in relation to the Service.
Following successful registration to subscribe to receive Mobile Internet Add-On , Meteor will use reasonable endeavours to effect your subscription to the Service within 24 hours of application.
You will receive Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles provided your Meteor Bill Pay account is not terminated or suspended or until you request that Meteor cancel your subscription.
You may terminate your subscription to Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles at any time provided you give Meteor at least 3 working days notice prior to their next billing date for such termination to take effect. Termination of the Service will then take effect on your next Billing Date.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles will be deducted from your account before any other data bundle that may come with your Tariff Plan. Once you have used up all the Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle, all subsequent data will be charged at Meteor's standard rates as per the Customer's given Tariff Plan. Meteor's standard rates are available at www.meteor.ie.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles expire at the end of each billing cycle. No balance of any unused Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle can be carried over from one billing period to the next. You will forfeit any unused portion of the Mobile Internet Add-On Bundle.
Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles cannot be used whilst roaming outside of the Republic of Ireland.
Use of the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is not permitted within the Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On and Meteor reserves the right to impose technological or other constraints on this or related types of application.
Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions of the Service in whole or part at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason. Meteor will endeavor to give you reasonable prior notice of any changes to the Service, or its terms and conditions, however please continually check our website for updates to these terms and conditions, as your continued use of this Service will be taken as acceptance of any future changes.
Meteor Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On Bundles - Specific Terms
The following specific terms and conditions also form part of Meteor's Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On and are in addition to those terms and conditions above.
In addition to the FUP, Meteor's Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On is subject to further fair use conditions, which Meteor may rely on to withdraw or terminate the Service from a Customer. These fair use conditions are such that a Customer's usage of the Meteor Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On shall not exceed 10GBs over any month.
Use of the VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is not permitted within the Unlimited Mobile Internet Add-On and Meteor reserves the right to impose technological or other constraints on this or related types of application.

500MB One Month Free Mobile Internet Add-On
The following specific terms and conditions also form part of Meteor's 500MB One Month Free Mobile Internet Add-On and are in addition to those terms and conditions above.
Your one month free period shall last from the date of successful subscription until the preceding date in the following month.
You will be charged at standard data prices for any data usage over your free Add-On allowance of 500MB and for all data usage beyond such monthly offer period.
Meteor may contact you towards the end of your free Mobile Internet Add-On to remind you that the one month is about to expire and advise of other available Add-On options. You consent, by availing of this Add-On, to being contacted in such manner and context. You also acknowledge that Meteor is not bound to notify you of the expiry of your Add-On and that it is your responsibility to monitor your usage and the term of same.
You also acknowledge and agree that you are only entitled to avail of this particular Add-On on one occasion.
