Text Add-On Terms and Conditions

Meteor Text Add On (150 Text).

The following terms and conditions apply to the Meteor Text Add-On ("Meteor  Text Add-On" / "the Service") and together with Meteor's general terms and conditions, to which you have also agreed to, and Meteor's Fair Usage Policy ("FUP"), both of which are available at www.meteor.ie, constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you"/"the Customer") for the use of the Service. All capitalized terms herein (unless otherwise defined) shall have whatever meaning is ascribed to them in the general terms and conditions.

The Service is open to all new and existing Bill Pay Customers on the Bill Pay Lite, Connect, Surf, Max, Meteor Talk or Meteor Minutes plans only. This does not include specific business tariff plans or Meteor Talk 24000 or Meteor Talk 15000 plans. This offer is also available to any existing Meteor customers upgrading to the permitted plans listed above.

The Meteor Text Add-On consists of an optional Add-On to your Bill Pay Tariff Plan of 150 text messages per month, that can be used and sent from your Meteor Mobile when in the ROI (not when Roaming) to Meteor numbers, or numbers of any other ROI national mobile networks, whilst within ROI (excluding any foreign network customers Roaming on such national networks and excluding any premium rate numbers).

Customers availing of the Meteor Text Add-On hereby agree by subscribing to this service that Meteor may contact them, on an ongoing basis, specifically in relation to this service. 
 

These offers are restricted to personal use only. Meteor reserves the right to terminate the Service, and/or all Services, without notice, should Meteor, at its' sole discretion; believe that the Service is being used for commercial purposes. Meteor shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from the termination of the Service. 

There is a maximum of 1 subscription to the Meteor Text Add-On per customer.
  

Subscription to the Meteor Text Add-On will take effect within 24 hours of application. You may terminate your subscription to Meteor Text Add-On at any time and this will take effect on your next billing date. Customers must give at least 3 (three) working days notice prior to their next billing date for such termination to take effect for that billing date.
  

The text messages under the Meteor Text Add-On will be consumed before standard FREE texts that may come with your Tariff Plan.
  

Once you have used all free text messages (howsoever arising), all subsequent text messages will be charged at the standard rates.
  

No balance of unused Meteor Text Add-On text messages can be carried over from one billing period into another and you will forfeit any unused portion of the Meteor Text Add-On.
  

You will receive the Meteor Text Add-On so long as your Meteor account is not terminated or suspended or until you request that Meteor cancel your subscription to the Meteor Text Add-On.
  

Meteor reserves the right to unilaterally withdraw and/or terminate the availability of Meteor Text Add-On, or to vary the nature of the offer at any time including, but not limited to, the price for such Service). Furthermore, these terms and conditions may be varied or amended by Meteor for any valid commercial, technical or operational reason. Meteor will endeavor to give you reasonable prior notice of any changes to the Service, or its terms and conditions, however, please continually check our website for updates to these terms and conditions, as your continued use of this Service will be taken as acceptance of any future changes.

The following terms and conditions apply to the Meteor Bonus Text Add-On ("Meteor Bonus Text Add-On" / "the Service") and together with Meteor's general terms and conditions, to which you have also agreed to, and Meteor's Fair Usage Policy ("FUP"), both of which are available at www.meteor.ie, constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you"/"the Customer") for the use of the Service. All capitalized terms herein (unless otherwise defined) shall have whatever meaning is ascribed to them in the general terms and conditions.

The Service consists of a free, one-off, add-on (which may be provided to you by Meteor at its sole discretion) to your Bill Pay Tariff Plan of a bundle of up to 100 text messages (the exact amount to be determined solely by Meteor) per monthly billing period, for a specified and limited number of billing periods defined by Meteor when granting such bonus service, that can be used and sent from your Meteor Mobile in ROI (not when Roaming) to Meteor numbers, or numbers of any other ROI national mobile networks, whilst within ROI (excluding any foreign network customers Roaming on such national networks and excluding any premium rate numbers), free of charge.
 

Customers availing of the Meteor Bonus Text Add-On hereby agree by subscribing to this service that Meteor may contact them, on an ongoing basis, specifically in relation to this service.

You will receive the Meteor Bonus Text Add-On for as many billing periods as are specified by Meteor (unless you terminate your entitlement to same, or your account is otherwise terminated or suspended), save that this period of entitlement shall not, in any circumstances, exceed six billing periods.
 

Meteor reserves the right to unilaterally withdraw and/or terminate the availability of Meteor Bonus Text Add-On, or to vary the nature of the offer at any time. Furthermore, these terms and conditions may be varied or amended by Meteor for any valid commercial, technical or operational reason.
