How often will I be billed?

As a Bill Pay customer you will receive your bill once a month.

Your first bill may be pro-rated, depending on when in the month you sign up. For example, as there is a set billing date each month for Broadband To Go, accounts started after this date may be billed for less than the full €16.99 for the first part-month, and receive an equivalently reduced data allowance. From the second month onwards you will, of course, receive the full allowance of 5 GB for €16.99.

What happens if I go over my monthly allowance?

If you go over the data allowance in any one month you’ll be charged 2c for every extra MB downloaded. However, by regularly checking your data balance via mymeteor- it’s easy to avoid extra charges.

Coverage

Can I use my mobile device throughout Ireland

Yes you can, but Broadband To Go works best in areas that are currently covered by a 3G Broadband network. Outside of 3G coverage areas, you find Edge and 2G networks. You can still use your broadband device in these EDGE and 2G areas to browse the internet and use email, but it won't be as fast as it is in 3G areas.
