How to set up email on an iPhone
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Settings icon.
- Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Select which type of Email Account Type you wish to set up and follow the on screen instructions
If you want to set up a different type of pop account please select other.
- Select Add Mail account.
- Set the Name to the name you wish to see in your mail box list
- Then enter the Email Address of the email account you wish to set up
- Enter your Password to your email account.
- Set Description to whatever you want i.e. work, personal, online shopping.
- Select Save.
- Select POP.
- Set Name to your name.
- Set Address to your email address for this account.
- Set Description to whatever you want i.e. work, personal, online shopping.
- Then move to Incoming mail server section.
- Enter your host name to whatever you have been given by your email provider i.e pop.host.ie.
- Enter your Username to the email address.
- Enter your Password to your email account.
- Then move to Outgoing mail server section.
- Set Host name to whatever your email provider has given you i.e. mail.host.ie
- Fill in your username.
- Fill in your password
- Select save in the top right hand corner
