The following terms and conditions of the Free Meteor Texts Promotion ("the Promotion") are in addition to Meteor's general terms and conditions of service and Meteor's Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") available at www.meteor.ie/misc/termsofuse.html. All constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you/the Customer"). In the event of any conflict relating to the operation of the Promotion, the terms and conditions below shall prevail which, by opting-in for the Promotion and each time you top-up to avail of same, you acknowledge and accept the provisions of.
The Promotion is available only to Meteor Pay As You Go ("PAYG") Customers on the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan ("Eligible Customers") who contact and opt-in with Meteor between 21st of July 2011 and 29th February 2012 ("Promotion Period").
Eligible Customers must contact and conclude a valid opt-in, through designated and specified channels, with Meteor for the Promotion and top-up by €5 after so validly opting-in, during the Promotion Period to be able to send free SMS texts to any Meteor mobile under this Promotion. Eligible Customers must then top-up by €5 or more, in one go, every 30 days and maintain a positive credit balance to continue to receive the free SMS under the Promotion. Upon top-up, your offer will be renewed and extended for a further 30 days. You should allow a maximum of up to one working day after topping up for the Promotion to take effect. Any bonus or extra credit given by Meteor does not count towards the minimum top-up requirement for this Promotion to be maintained.
The Promotion is also subject to further fair use conditions, which Meteor may rely on to withdraw, restrict, limit or terminate the Promotion from an Eligible Customer. These fair use conditions are such that an Eligible Customer's usage of the Promotion shall not exceed 5000 texts per month. Any usage above same, or outside of the terms of this Promotion, will be charged at standard rates.
This Promotion does not apply when you are roaming outside the Republic of Ireland (ROI) or for international texts, premium rate or non geographic numbers and only applies to Short Message Service (SMS) texts where the sender and receiver are both on the Meteor network in Ireland.
Existing Meteor customers can only avail of the Promotion if they are on, or move to, the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan during the Promotion Period and then subscribe to this Promotion; however you acknowledge that you will lose any original discounts or offers under your former Meteor Tariff Plan once you move to the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan. Additionally, you will lose the benefits and entitlement to the Promotion should you move to any other Meteor Tariff Plan other than Anytime Choice.
By signing up to the Promotion, you consent to Meteor contacting you by SMS to notify you of successful or unsuccessful opt-ins, activations, updates, changes in relation to this Promotion for as long as they are eligible and remain on the Promotion. Meteor does not warrant or represent that it shall send such SMS messages and you acknowledge that it is not bound to do so and that it is your responsibility to ensure you remain eligible for the Promotion.
Eligible Customers acknowledge that the various promotions available on the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan that can be opted-in for are mutually exclusive and that by availing of any one, they shall not, at the same time, be able to avail of the other promotions. Customers can switch, however, to any other promotion under this Tariff Plan by duly opting in to the alternative promotion and then topping-up their account in accordance with the requirements of such other promotion. Upon opting-in to any different promotion, an Eligible Customers' entitlement to this Promotion shall automatically cease and the new promotion shall be effected after topping-up in accordance with the terms of such promotion. You acknowledge that it remains your responsibility to ensure you are opted-in and top-up by the correct amount for the applicable promotion and customer error will not be reimbursed by Meteor.
Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Promotion in whole or in part at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason, or where you are in breach of any of Meteor's terms and conditions (whether those general terms or these Promotion terms), FUP or the Fair Usage Conditions hereunder.
Meteor shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from the Promotion or for termination, withdrawal or amending the Promotion.

Any usage above same, or outside of the terms of this Promotion, will be charged at standard rates (i.e. if a Meteor to Meteor call runs for 63 minutes, the first 60 minutes of the call will be free and the remaining 3 minutes will be charged at the standard Anytime Choice Tariff Plan rates).

Eligible Customers must then top-up by €20 or more, in one go, every 30 days and maintain a positive credit balance to continue to receive the free SMS under the Promotion. Upon top-up, your offer will be renewed and extended for a further 30 days. You should allow a maximum of up to one working day after topping up for the Promotion to take effect. In the event of any conflict relating to the operation of the Promotion, the terms and conditions below shall prevail which, by registering for the Promotion and each time you top-up to avail of same, you acknowledge and accept the provisions of.
The Promotion is available only to Meteor Pay As You Go ("PAYG") Customers on the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan ("Eligible Customers") who contact and register with Meteor between 21st of July 2011 and 29th February 2012 ("Promotion Period").

Evenings shall be deemed to apply from 6pm until 8am the following day (“evening”) and weekends shall be from 6pm on Friday until 8am on Monday (“weekend”). Upon a call starting and spanning the evening or weekend period and a timeframe not covered under this Promotion, the standard rate shall be amended to the free rate under the Promotion, or the Promotion to the standard rate, during the call and shortly following the change to the alternative billing timeframe.
The Promotion is also subject to further fair use conditions, which Meteor may rely on to withdraw, restrict, limit or terminate the Promotion from an Eligible Customer. These fair use conditions are such that an Eligible Customer's usage of the Promotion shall not exceed 5,000 minutes of calls per month and calls are free for a maximum duration of 60 minutes. Eligible Customers must then top-up by €30 or more, in one go, every 30 days and maintain a positive credit balance to continue to receive the Promotion and any bonus or special rates applying whilst remaining under the Promotion. Upon top-up, your offer will be renewed and extended for a further 30 days. You should allow a maximum of up to one working day after topping up for the Promotion to take effect. Until the 2nd of September, a further promotional pricing will be applied whereby a top-up of only €20 (instead of €30) or more in one go is needed for this promotion. Any bonus or extra credit given by Meteor does not count towards the minimum top-up requirement for this Promotion to be maintained.
The Promotion is also subject to further fair use conditions, which Meteor may rely on to withdraw, restrict, limit or terminate the Promotion from an Eligible Customer. Free Any Network Texts and Internet

The following terms and conditions of the Meteor “Any Network Texts and Internet” Promotion ("the Promotion") are in addition to Meteor's general terms and conditions of service and Meteor's Fair Usage Policy ("FUP") available at www.meteor.ie/misc/termsofuse.html. All constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you/the Customer"). In the event of any conflict relating to the operation of the Promotion, the terms and conditions below shall prevail which, by registering for the Promotion and each time you top-up to avail of same, you acknowledge and accept the provisions of.
Eligible Customers must contact and conclude a valid opt-in, through designated and specified channels, with Meteor for the Promotion and then top-up by €30 or more in one go after so validly opting-in, during the Promotion Period to receive free SMS texts to any Irish mobile or landline number texts free internet. Eligible Customers must then top-up by €30 or more, in one go, every 30 days and maintain a positive credit balance to continue to receive the Promotion and any bonus or special rates applying whilst remaining under the Promotion. Upon top-up, your offer will be renewed and extended for a further 30 days. You should allow a maximum of up to one working day after topping up for the Promotion to take effect. Until the 2nd of September, a further promotional pricing will be applied whereby a top-up of only €20 (instead of €30) or more in one go is needed for this promotion. Any bonus or extra credit given by Meteor does not count towards the minimum top-up requirement for this Promotion to be maintained.
The Promotion is also subject to further fair use conditions, which Meteor may rely on to withdraw, restrict, limit or terminate the Promotion from an Eligible Customer. These fair use conditions are such that an Eligible Customer's usage of the Promotion shall not exceed 5,000 texts per month and the free data allowance for this offer is 1GB. Any usage above same, or outside of the terms of this Promotion, will be charged at standard rates (i.e. if a call runs for 63 minutes, the first 60 minutes of the call will be free and the remaining 3 minutes will be charged at the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan rates).
This Promotion and any bonus or special rates applying whilst remaining under the Promotion do not apply when you are roaming outside the Republic of Ireland (ROI) or for international calls or texts, international data usage, premium rate or non geographic numbers and only applies to Short Message Service (SMS) texts. Multimedia Message Service (MMS) messages are expressly excluded from the scope of this Promotion. This promotion also does not apply to any video calls made, either inside or outside ROI.
Existing Meteor customers can only avail of the Promotion if they are on, or move to, the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan during the Promotion Period and then subscribe to this Promotion, however you acknowledge that you will lose any original discounts or offers under your former Meteor Tariff Plan once you move to the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan. Additionally, you will lose the benefits and entitlement to the Promotion should you move to any other Meteor Tariff Plan other than Anytime Choice.
By signing up to the Promotion, you consent to Meteor contacting you by SMS to notify you of successful or unsuccessful opt-ins, activations, updates, changes in relation to this Promotion for as long as they are eligible and remain on the Promotion. Meteor does not warrant or represent that it shall send such SMS messages and you acknowledge that it is not bound to do so and that it is your responsibility to ensure you remain eligible for the Promotion.
Eligible Customers acknowledge that the various promotions available on the Anytime Choice Tariff Plan that can be opted-in for are mutually exclusive and that by availing of any one, they shall not, at the same time, be able to avail of the other promotions. Customers can switch, however, to any other promotion under this Tariff Plan by duly opting in to the alternative promotion and then topping-up their account in accordance with the requirements of such other promotion. Upon opting-in to any different promotion, an Eligible Customers' entitlement to this Promotion shall automatically cease and the new promotion shall be effected after topping-up in accordance with the terms of such promotion. You acknowledge that it remains your responsibility to ensure you are opted-in and top-up by the correct amount for the applicable promotion and customer error will not be reimbursed by Meteor.
Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Promotion in whole or in part at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason, or where you are in breach of any of Meteor's terms and conditions (whether those general terms or these Promotion terms), FUP or the Fair Usage Conditions hereunder.
