Bill Pay Offer for AXA policy holders - Terms and Conditions
1. The following terms and conditions form part of Meteor's Bill Pay Offer to AXA policy holders ("the Promotion") presented in association with AXA Plus. Meteor's general terms and conditions, to which you have agreed to, and Meteor's Fair Usage policy ("FUP") both of which are available at www.meteor.ie, combined with these terms below constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the Customer ("you/the Customer") for the use of the Service. All capitalised terms herein (unless otherwise defined) shall have whatever meaning ascribed to them in the general terms and conditions.
2. The Promotion is open to any person, who is also an AXA policy holder, who opens a Bill Pay Connect or higher Bill Pay account from 23rd November 2009 by either switching their number from another operator or opens a new Meteor Bill Pay account, or to existing Meteor Bill Pay customers on such plans, who are also AXA policy holders, in respect of the €5 monthly discount element of the Promotion ("Eligible Participants"). This promotion is only open and available in Meteor owned retail stores ("Meteor Store").
3. Eligible participants must show their AXA plus card or their insurance certificate disc to a Meteor Store representative when they are activating their account of the type indicated above, or separately if an existing customer wishing to receive the €5 monthly discount element, and indicate that they wish to avail of this specific promotion. Eligible Participants acknowledge and agree that this information shall be shared with AXA and its and/or Meteor's direct mailing house, purely to confirm and validate they have an existing AXA policy holder and are thus entitled to the Promotion.
4. The Promotion shall consist of all standard offers and benefits associated with Meteor's Connect €50 plan or higher Bill Plans, subject always to their further terms and conditions, plus a €5 discount on their monthly commitment. Existing Customers that validly subscribe as indicated above shall receive solely the €5 monthly discount. If any issues arise with verifying the new customer AXA will telephone the participant to confirm their details before any incentive is applied. In the event that you are not an Eligible Participant, you will not receive the €5 monthly discount of this Promotion, but shall still be bound to the Bill Pay contract entered into with Meteor and the terms and conditions of same
5. During the life of the offer only one (1) promotional discount can be applied to a Bill Pay customers' account. Therefore, eligible participants acknowledge and agree that they, by subscribing to this Promotion, shall not be entitled to avail of any other monthly monetary discounts available during its lifetime.
6. This Promotion and its constituent provisions are restricted to personal use only. Meteor reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the Service without notice, should Meteor, at its' sole discretion; believe that the Service is being used for commercial purposes.
7. Meteor shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from any ineligible or unsuccessful applications, any delay in the imposition of the Promotion, or the termination of the Promotion.
8.. Customers availing of this Promotion hereby agree that Meteor may contact them, on an ongoing basis, specifically in relation to this Promotion.
9. Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason. Any changes to The Promotion, or its terms and conditions will be notified to you by being posted on the Meteor website www.meteor.ie and will be posted at least (14) days before they take effect.
