Terms and Conditions of the Meteor BlackBerry® Bill Pay Service
- The following terms and conditions of the Meteor BlackBerry® Bill Pay Service (“the Service”) are in addition to the terms and conditions of the Meteor service and any other applicable Meteor terms and conditions, including but not limited to relevant bill pay tariff terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict these terms and conditions below will prevail.
- The Service is only available to customers of the Meteor Smart and Smart Unlimited Bill Pay tariff plans (“Customer(s)”), who use a Blackberry® device or other device that supports the Service (“Device”).
- The Service allows use of the Blackberry® Internet Service (“BIS”) which provides access to BlackBerry ® supported data services including email, external websites, BlackBerry Messenger, social networking apps and instant messaging. The Service does not include the BlackBerry® Enterprise Service (“BES”) for corporate email accounts.
- The Service is subject to a minimum contract period of one month from the date of sign up to the Service. Customers must provide Meteor with thirty (30) days written notice in the event that they wish to cancel the Service.
- The charge for the Service is a monthly charge of €4.99 (the ‘Charge’), which Charge applies in respect of all data transmitted or received using the Service. A monthly data limit of 2GB applies to the Service. If the Customer exceeds this limit, standard Meteor data rates apply.
- The BlackBerry® browser icon or any specific application browser icon loaded on the Customer’s Device must be used to access the internet to ensure data usage is taken out of the data allowance under the Service. A chargeable session under the Service starts when a Customer first connects to the Service and ends when a customer disconnects from the Service
- The Service does not include data usage when roaming or international usage. Meteor’s standard data roaming and international rates and terms and conditions apply to any such usage. The Service does not include VoIP or data sharing and any such usage will be charged for in accordance with standard Meteor data rates.
- For the avoidance of doubt, as set out above, Customers of the Service will only be able to avail of BIS. Access to BES is not permitted under the Service. - In addition to these terms and conditions, RIM’s standard terms and conditions associated with the use of BlackBerry® from Meteor and the BlackBerry® Internet Service and other associated products will also apply to use of the Services.
- BlackBerry®, RIM®, Research In Motion®, SureType®, SurePress™ and related trademarks, names and logos are the property of Research In Motion Limited and are registered and/or used in the U.S. and countries around the world, under license from Research In Motion Limited.
