Meteor Choice Music Prize Presents An Evening With Lisa Hannigan and James Vincent McMorrow" Competition (the "Competition") - Terms and Conditions

  1. Participation in the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry (the "Terms and Conditions").
  2. Entry is open only to Republic of Ireland residents aged eighteen (18) years and over and who are Meteor customers ("Eligible Entrants"). Directors, management and employees (and the families of same) of Meteor or other companies or individuals associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.
  3. The Competition is open from 16 November 2011 until 30 November 2011 (the "Competition Period").
  4. To enter the Competition, "Eligible Entrants" must tweet the answer to a daily question and give us their name and mobile number to win a pair of tickets to an evening with Lisa Hannigan and James Vincent McMorrow (the "Prize").
  5. During the Competition Period, thirty (30) Eligible Entrants can win a the Prize (the "Winner(s)") to an evening with Lisa Hannigan and James Vincent McMorrow in The Button Factory, Temple Bar, Dublin on  8 December 2011 (the "Concert").
  6. Eligible Entrants can enter the Competition multiple times.
  7. Meteor reserves the right to refuse entry to the Competition for whatever reason at its discretion.
  8. Any person accompanying the Winner to the Concert must be eighteen (18) years and over.
  9. Each Winner must, at Meteor’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize, free of charge, and they consent to Meteor using their names, images and/or videos in publicity or promotional material.
  10. Each Winner agrees to participate in an update on www.facebook.com/meteor following attendance at the Concert which will give a brief account of each Winner’s experience at the Concert.
  11. Winners will be announced on daily on @meteor_mobile. If a Winner does not respond to Meteor within two (2) days of being notified, Meteor has the right to select another winner.
  12. Eligible Entrants must take up the Prize on 8 December 2011.
  13. The decision in relation to the identification of each Winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a Winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by Meteor, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the Prize. If for any reason a Prize is not available, Meteor reserves the right to substitute another Prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal value.
  15. If for any reason any aspect of the Competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Meteor which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, Meteor may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries.
  16. Meteor accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries.
  17. Meteor and its associated companies will not be liable for any loss expense or damage which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or accepting or using the Prize(s), including any loss, expenses, damage arising from any acts or omissions of a third party associated with the Competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  18. Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Competition in whole or in part at any time.
  19. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.
