eircom Group Friends and Family mobile Broadband offer Terms and Conditions

1. The following terms and conditions form part of the eircom Group Friends and Family promotional offer (“the Promotion”) and upon participation in such Promotion, the participants involved shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and be bound by them.
2. Current employees of companies within the eircom Group (incorporating eircom Limited and its’ subsidiaries), together with (as specifically invited from time to time) certain independent contractors and agents and staff of certain suppliers, who are engaged in work and supplying services to the eircom Group (“the Referrer”), shall be eligible to take part in the Promotion by inviting, through internal intranet facilities, or link forwarded to Referrer, a maximum of five (5) individuals (“the Friends and Family”) (by way of e-mail communication sent by Meteor on their behalf) to sign up onto Meteor’s Bill Pay network.
3. The Promotion applies to the 5GB, 10GB and 20GB 12 months Meteor Mobile Broadband Bill Pay Plans (the “MBB Plans”).
4. Under the Promotion, Family and Friends will also receive a free refurbished E182 mobile broadband stick when availing of 5GB & 10GB plans and an E353 stick when availing of 20GB plan.
5. Upon any of the Friends and Family successfully migrating to, or signing up to any of the MBB plans through Meteor retail stores only, in accordance with these terms, a discount of ten euros (€10) per month shall be applied to the Friends and Family’s individual account (“the Discount”).
6. To be eligible for the Discount, Friends and Family must present the voucher number (contained within the invitation email) to the Meteor retail store at the time of signing up to the MBB Plans. This cannot be provided or applied at a later date.
7. The Promotion and Discount are, at all times, subject to successful sign up by the Friends and Family onto the  Meteor Mobile Broadband network, including providing all necessary proofs of identification and address and satisfying Meteor’s credit and security checks.
8. Subject to the terms herein, the Discount shall continue and remain in operation for as long as the Friends and Family remain in good standing and on an active, qualifying Bill Pay Tariff plan. Any termination of their account shall result in immediate termination of this Discount.
9. The continuance of the Discount shall also be subject to the Referrer remaining an employee of the eircom Group, or individual contractor / agent / supplier continuing to be engaged in providing services to the eircom Group. Should the Referrer no longer be doing so, the Friends and Family members will be contacted and the Discount will be removed from their accounts. The Friends and Family members expressly acknowledge and accept that the removal of the Discount in this situation does not affect the remainder of the terms of their contract and that they shall still be bound to their terms and conditions, including any minimum period of contract applicable.
10. By subscribing to this Promotion, the Friends and Family acknowledge that only one (1) promotional bundle can be applied to a Bill Pay customers account and that they acknowledge and accept that they give up their chance of receiving other free promotions, in excess of their normal tariff plan inclusive usage, during the term of this Discount applying.
11. The Discount provided under this Promotion is restricted to personal use only. Meteor reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the Service without notice, should Meteor, at its’ sole discretion; believe that the Service is being used for commercial purposes. Meteor shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from the termination of the Service.
12. For new accounts, the Discount will be applied to the customers’ account at the time of activation and will be reflected in the customers’ first bill. Therefore, the pro-rated amount of the Discount up to the first bill date will be displayed. For customers migrating to a qualifying tariff plan, the Discount shall be applied and will take effect as and from the customer’s next billing date.
13. Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason. Any changes to the Promotion or its terms and conditions will be notified to you by being posted on the Meteor website www.meteor.ie and will be posted at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Please continually check our website for updates to these terms and conditions, as your continued use will be taken as acceptance of any future changes.
