No roaming charges in Europe

1. The following terms and conditions of the Meteor European Roaming Offer ( “the Roaming Offer”) are in addition to and form part of the Meteor’s general terms and conditions of use (the “General Terms”). All shall constitute a legally binding agreement between Meteor ("we/us", "Meteor") and the customer ("you/the Customer") in respect of the fulfilment of requirements and due application of this Roaming Offer. In the event of any conflict provision relating to the operation of the Roaming Offer, the General Terms shall prevail. Capitalised terms not herein defined shall have their meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
2. Customers on Qualifying Plans may opt-in to the Roaming Offer by texting ‘Europe’ to 50104 for the application of the Roaming Offer during the Applicable Period. Any failure to validly conclude an opt-in shall render the Customer subject to standard EEA roaming rates. You acknowledge that it remains your responsibility to ensure you are opted-in and Customer error or failure will not be reimbursed by Meteor.
3. Following valid opt-in, the Roaming Offer involves the application, on Qualifying Plans, of normal domestic voice and text out-of-bundle rates for current tariff plans and a 25 cent per minute and 10 cent per text for historic bill pay legacy plans, together with a 10MB daily allowance (the “Daily Data Allowance”) for a charge of 99 cent per day when Roaming in the European Economic Area (EEA) and using data, making a call or sending a text, to a domestic or mobile number also within the EEA during the Applicable Period. Bundled, or plan-inclusive minutes, are unaffected by the Roaming Offer and shall not be applied or used as a result of any usage whilst Roaming, where under the Roaming Offer. Voicemail is charged at domestic rates.
4. The Roaming Offer shall apply for the period from May 5th 2011 to October 15th 2013 (“the Applicable Period”), which period may be extended by Meteor at its sole discretion and determination.
5. The Pay As You Go / PAYG Qualifying Plans shall be Anytime Choice, Anytime Online and Anytime All In. All current Bill Pay tariff plans can avail of the Roaming Offer. The Bill Pay Lite SIM Only plan will be charged a cheaper rate than their normal domestic out-of bundle rate (25c per min and 10c text rate). Any change of tariff from a Qualifying Plan to a non-qualifying plan, shall result in the loss of the Roaming Offer.
6. Calls and SMS to Premium Rate Services or non-geographical numbers are excluded from this Roaming Offer and are subject to the standard Roaming rates applicable for such numbers. Calls and texts originated outside of the EEA or to numbers outside of the EEA shall be subject to standard Roaming rates. This Roaming Offer applies to the exclusion of any other Roaming product or offering.
7. Following exhaustion or expiry of the Daily Data  Allowance data usage will be charged by Meteor on a per MB basis at standard out of bundle data rates. The Daily Data Allowance expires at midnight Irish time.  The  Daily Data Allowance operates as follows:
• 55c per MB Charge for Roaming data usage between 0kB and 1.8MB (i.e., up to 99c)
• no Charge between 1.8MB and 10MB
• above 10MB, standard out of bundle per MB Charges shall  apply
8. The Customer can opt out from Roaming Offer by texting ‘Stop Europe’ to 50104. Successful opt out from the Roaming Offer will be confirmed by SMS. After opt out Customer will revert to standard out of bundle voice, text and data Roaming rates.
9. Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Roaming Offer in whole or in part at any time, where in its opinion there is a valid commercial, technical or operational reason, or where you are in breach of any of Meteor's terms and conditions or Meteor's Fair Usage Policy.
10. Meteor shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising from the Roaming Offer or for termination, withdrawal or amending the Roaming Offer.

Data roaming Europe Add On

1. These terms and conditions of the Data Roaming Europe Add On (the “Promotion”) are in addition to and form part of the Terms and Conditions of the Meteor Service. In the event of any conflict, these terms and conditions will prevail.
2. The Promotion is only available to Meteor Bill Pay and Prepay, Meteor Broadband Bill Pay and Pre Pay customers (“Eligible Customers”). Eligible Customers may only avail of one Data Roaming Europe Add On at any one time.
3. The Promotion is an optional 30 days data Add-On consisting of 50MB of data (combined download and upload). If full allowance is used, standard rates per MB will apply (detailed pricing to be found at www.emobile.ie)
4. The Promotion can be used in following countries: Andorra, Austria, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Channel Islands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK, Vatican City.

Allowance from European Data bundle can't be used in Republic of Ireland

A). Add-on purchased in month with 30 days (September, April, June, November)- Add-on expires after 30 days, new add-on can be purchased on 31st day

Example: If a bundle is purchased on April 4th, it's valid till May 3rd (if allowance is not used first) and new bundle can be bought after May 4th

B). Add-on purchased in month with 31 days (January, March, May, July, August, October, December) - Add-on expires after 31 days, new add-on can be purchased on 32nd day.

Example: If a bundle is purchased on May 4th, it's valid till June 3rd (if allowance is not used first) and new bundle can be bought after June 4th

C). Add-on purchased in February - Add-on expires after 28 days (29 for leap years), new add-on can be purchased on 29th day (30th for leap years)

Example: If a bundle is purchased on February 4th, it's valid till March 3rd (if allowance is not used first) and new bundle can be bought after March 4th.

1. When Data Roaming Europe Add On is applied, confirmation SMS will be sent. If confirmation SMS isn’t sent, add-on isn’t active and standard charges apply.
2. The customer's Data Roaming Europe Add On allowance must be used within one month. Unused allowance cannot be carried over after 30 days from date of purchase.
3. It’s a once off add-on, so it cannot be terminated after add-on has been applied.
4. Meteor reserves the right to vary or amend these terms and conditions or withdraw the Promotion in whole or in part at any time.
5. Except as expressly provided in these terms and conditions, all conditions, terms, warranties and representations whether express or implied by law in relation to the provision of the Promotion are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law.
